This base measures 4" x 12" x 1/2" and has a single 1/16" wide slot. The base also comes with two 4" x 4" dividers which are attached by placing them into a dado with high strength wood glue and 4 brad nails. Very secure. The dividers are also placed to show edge grain. Base weighs approximately 1.25 pounds making it a light weight base.
