15" round multi-wood base. Bases are made with a minimum of 3 types of hardwoods, black walnut, cherry, oak, maple and ash. I guarantee that two of the strips will include black walnut. The location of the walnut is placed on each side of the center wood piece. The width of the strips of hardwood varies from base to base, but average around 3" wide.
The base is 3/4" in thickness with a single 1/16" slot-1/2" in depth. The base is sanded and ready for weaving.
