This base has a 8" x 12" semi flat oval base with a dado cut for inserting the handle into. The handle is attached with two fasteners and a high strength wood glue. The handle measures 9" tall by 12 1/4" wide and is approximately 1/2" in thickness. The handle also has a 3" x 3" heart cut out.
