This base measures 11 1/4" x 14" and is 3/4" in thickness. The base has a single 1/16" slot around the edge for inserting reed.
This base is made from combined pieces, glued and clamped together for strength to prevent cupping or warping. The edges are rounded slightly and the entire base is finished sanded, ready for weaving.
