This large rectangular base is made from Wisconsin hardwoods. The base measures 12" x 20 x 3/4". The base has a single 1/16" wide single slot for reed insertion. The depth of the slot is 1/2".
I also round the 4 corners slightly for easier weaving. (see image for illustration of design)
The base is sanded and ready for weaving.
