7" x 15" American 250th-Laser Image

This laser engraved base is made from Wisconsin butternut.  Butternut has clear grain and lasers very well.  Butternut also stains and finishes with oil very well.  Some wood workers consider butternut similar to walnut when stained and finished.  This base measures 7" x 15" x 3/4" and has a single 1/16" slot for reed insertion.

The base is sanded and ready for weaving.
