I call this base the Salt and Pepper base. I'm not sure what you can use it for, but salt and pepper shakers would fit nicely. This base measures 3" x 6" approximate with a single 1/16" slot. The base and handle are 1/2" in thickness. The handle is approximately 6" tall.
The handle fits into a dado slot in the bottom base for added strength.
The base is sanded and ready for weaving.
